Thought experiment: If NEW gun purchases with high capacity clips required insurance, the way autos do, would that effectively price most young males out of the market because of risk? We'd still have plenty of weapons, but mostly owned by the safest demographics. Discuss.

it is an item of sale. sales tax applies. but adding costs just because it is a gin? no, that flies in the face of the Constitution. just because it might have been done recently, does not make it constitutional and I think you are going to see these go to the high court, soon.

cause, here's the thing, ALL are backed up by the right to keep and bear arms. if the government can first take or restrict our of existence, that right, then everything else, elections, speech, property rights, which are protected BY that rights gone the moment the gov decides
