Thought experiment: If NEW gun purchases with high capacity clips required insurance, the way autos do, would that effectively price most young males out of the market because of risk? We'd still have plenty of weapons, but mostly owned by the safest demographics. Discuss.

New High capacity clips. I didn't catch that part at first. That's already expensive. The poor could still have weapons, but making the big ones harder to get adds friction. Someone who could afford the insurance is probably more responsible with it anyway. Worth thinking about.

We should be free to donate them to people in need, cuz I support free market charity!
