Thought experiment: If NEW gun purchases with high capacity clips required insurance, the way autos do, would that effectively price most young males out of the market because of risk? We'd still have plenty of weapons, but mostly owned by the safest demographics. Discuss.
Do you steal your guns or buy them? If you buy them, the seller is infringing on your rights by forcing you to have money to get a gun. Same as insurance. Think it through next time.

Buying a firearm is a one time cost. Is insurance?

Scott, what do you think the insurance would do?

For example, you said it would price young males out of the market. The market already exists, and the cost for the policy is the same for everyone regardless of age or sex.

Requiring money to purchase an item is not an infringement on a right. An infringement is a barrier or unnecessary burden to exercising a right. If one can't afford a gun, their right to own said gun still exists, regardless of their ability to afford it.

You are leading Pat passed the sale. Needing to buy a product is a given. Needing to insure its use is not.
