To all the "shall not be infringed" shouters, unless you favor arming toddlers, the insane, and incarcerated prisoners, you already favor infringing. I'm pro-2nd amendment, but don't make me associate with bad arguments. Up your game, please.

“Shall not infringe” does not apply to those who, based on their individual status, are already denied a broad group of rights. As pointed out, children, mentally incompetent, criminals, etc have limited self-determination because of their status, including 2A rights.

If the British had won, then certainly. They did not, so the Revolutionaries are heroes instead of criminals.

Its pretty clear... toddlers, insane people & convicted criminals are considered differently... the 2 former are not competent & latter gave up their rights by committing a crime. Law abiding people (see below) can obtain a firearm but it's already pretty hard to buy one.pic.twitter.com/nGDmWXqBxo

I never assume
@ScottAdamsSays what he actually thinks. I believe he’s generally honest and don’t think he’s deceitful, but I also believe he often cares more about persuasion than communication. It’s possible his intent was to draw and hone cogent counter arguments. - Show replies
