Thought experiment: If NEW gun purchases with high capacity clips required insurance, the way autos do, would that effectively price most young males out of the market because of risk? We'd still have plenty of weapons, but mostly owned by the safest demographics. Discuss.

Why can’t we just require in depth interviews,and increase the age to 21? School notified of homes with them. Heavy fines and jail time for anyone that leases their semi automatic to unauthorized people? Why make people pay for a gun they have been responsibly using for 20+ years

In some municipalities you have to request a CCW through the local sheriff's office, and the only people granted their CCW are friends of the Sherrif or who donate to his reelection campaign.
