Rights are benefits? I'm a bit confused here. Do you mean this statement to include "natural rights" as being benefits? I agree that some legal rights and some unenumerated rights could be classified as "benefits". But you would have to convince me that "natural rights" are.

No, rights are unalienable. Benefits can be taken away and they are no longer benefits. If rights are taken away, they are still rights but are being infringed. It is a huge and important difference
