You did buffer for a few seconds. I find it easy to stop and restart the app. Usually fixes it.

“Robo reverb” is generally caused by the usb audio interface (get MixPre3) or WiFi packet loss. This is not bandwidth but related to the number of devices within WiFi range. You could have a 1G connection but still have issues in a dense office (I say this from experience).
