To put this in perspective, we wouldn't even notice that our GDP in 80 years is 10.5% lower than it could have been. Society will be about 500% richer by then. This is great news disguised as terrible news.https://twitter.com/afreedma/status/1163500017681862656 …

Great 1984 doublespeak, moron. You have a knack of using wacky assumptions as fact and stringing together specious arguments that sound intelligent and plausible.

You should take my lead and try sounding intelligent and plausible! It's great!

Why don’t you start with this “500% richer” nonsense. By what measure, that is appropriate for society or individuals, are you using where this can objectively be demonstrated?

Do you have access to "the Internet" where you are? It's full of facts and stuff.

I do. Show me some “facts”. Your tweets seem to lack them. That’s my point.

But you don’t need a fvcking Economics degree to know that climate refugees won’t feel “500% richer”! The poorest of the earth will be hardest hit. There’ll be greater insecurity on food, housing, healthcare, and clean water. But Cato says 500% richer.

A hundred years ago poor people simply starved to death. Today they go to college. Your prediction assumes we start doing everything wrong and keep doing so for 80 years. My assumption says thousands of years of history prove humans are good at adapting.

You way too smart for such a specious argument. A) I’ve made no predictions B) I’m not discounting progress we’ve made C) we don’t ignore threats to the environment or the economy because “100 years ago people starved”

Are you hallucinating that one of us wants to "ignore threats to the environment or economy"? If you have to hallucinate ridiculous opinions and assign them to me just to avoid looking ridiculous, you don't have a strong play.
