Climate science is complex, and the terminology can be tricky.  I created this visual glossary of the Greenland Surface Mass Balance - to help guide people through @washingtonpost climate stories. @ScottAdamsSays @afreedmapic.twitter.com/104QEutonF

Much appreciated - from a 30 year Dilbert fan. It would be much easier for people to make up their minds if alarmists were willing to debate. But they won’t do that because it wouldn’t turn out well for them.

Can you please share the latest info on the Logrythmic absorbsion rate of CO2, specifically where on the curve we are, the flat or the steep part. Ie, rate of change of temp projections at current CO2 saturation levels.

The graphs say there has been lots of melting in Greenland this summer. What's the dispute?https://twitter.com/greenlandicesmb/status/1156542706467901440 …

According @dmidk's high res weather model #HARMONIEAROME we calculate a melt area of more than 51% yesterday (>1mm water equiv) - highest this year by some distance #Greenland #icesheet also lost >7 Gigatonnes of ice net of fresh snow/rain in SE http://polarportal.dk/en/greenland/surface-conditions/ … pic.twitter.com/GZbGTIYB3Z

Science is DATA. The HadCRUT data base upon which most of this is based has never been independently audited and is known to not meet ISO 8000 Standards for Data Integrity. At the very least, until this has been fixed, the results and predictions should be viewed with skepticism.

Myopic vision, as usual by @stevesgoddard. Accumulated Surface Mass Balance (SMB) this year is extremely low compared to 1981-2010 average. Once you include calving of icebergs and ocean melt, the ice sheet is losing hundreds of Gigatonnes each year.https://twitter.com/greenlandicesmb/status/1156568518005010433?s=20 …

No, because this graph only covers surface processes, if you include calving of icebergs and ocean melt, on average the ice sheet has lost around 250 Gigatonnes per year since 2002, see: http://polarportal.dk/en/greenland/mass-and-height-change/ … pic.twitter.com/JN2EjU8gDK
