This statement from my friend @DavidBrodyCBN is absolutely false. There's a lot of spin out there, but we have the receipts. When speaking about the clash in Charlottesville, the president referred to "very fine people" on both sides.

The reason people are caught by the 'Very fine people' hoax is because of what seems to be a clarifier to the reader: 'on both sides' meaning only two sides. What two sides? neo-nazis and those against neo-nazis. That is a form of confirmation bias right there.

In reality there were many sides out there, which includes those who wanted to support the Park and statues of Robert E Lee and those who wanted the opposite.
