Thought experiment: How many mass shootings involving semi-automatic weapons would happen if all those weapons were pink by law, which would be constitutional, I assume?

Its like the prison warden who dyed inmate underwear pink in order to cut down on thefts. Pink != Macho

Right. People would try to make them scarier in whatever way. If that is also not a thing, then the tendency to choose guns over other weapons would go down, as I believe the reasoning for choosing guns is not necessarily that they are more effective, but more sensationalized.

Great point, Celine. Committing a crime with a gun does seem to ensure the media will dedicate a ton of time to the event.

Depends; Do all movies and TV shows have to use pinker and more dainty weapons in their films?

The problem is that the criminals do not care about 1 or 10,000 gun laws. Stop blaming the guns and hold people accountable for their actions. No gun laws will prevent people who want to hurt or kill someone from doing so.
