An item buried some place on a huge website does not count as "covering it." It counts as "we posted it so we can claim we covered it."

I am BH breathing ok. However it is often the come back to "where is media?" cries to showcase an article that some reporter posted one time on a website. That's hardly media coverage. Look how the Franken New Yorkers article went today.

It sounds an awful lot like you're accusing the media of covering something to avoid accusations of not covering something. You know, if true, that's fiendishly clever of them. Seriously, though, you need 10 articles saying the same thing? Why not listen to the first one?

This tweet would make sense, if we didn't have 100 articles saying the same thing on most other issues.

We also have tons of stuff that only gets the one article. Such as this report that merely having a Trump rally in a county meant there were more hate crimes than ones that didn't Weird that I'm not hearing clamoring for this to be covered more. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/03/22/trumps-rhetoric-does-inspire-more-hate-crimes/?noredirect=on&utm_term=.19259e8bc587#click=https://t.co/bYXsN60xzH …

The media creates the situation then reports on it.

Exactly. It's fascinating how the media works to shape the public's opinion and then pretends the public reached it independently and the media is just reporting it.

So it's the media's fault that there's actual numbers about how much more hate crime-y counties with Trump rallies are? (226%, in case you forgot)
