@ScottAdamsSays , Retired NSA computer expert, Bill Binney, said a year ago on Tucker, that theDNC Hack was instead a leak from inside the DNC. The download speed was too fast to be over the Internet. It was loaded directly to a thumb drive:https://youtu.be/vA0HK_I-Hps2 replies 0 retweets 2 likes -

I’ve heard that was debunked. But I don’t believe anything.

@ScottAdamsSays Here's Bill Binney more recently. He describes objective evidence, that the DNC emails were leaked, rather than hacked: https://youtu.be/DR4oQiNlT3g1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -

Doesn't _prove_ that they were transferred from the original server to a thumb drive (or whatever). Listen closely to Binney's wording. Also, AFAIK the people who actually DID the analysis admit that we don't know where that high-speed transfer was from.https://twitter.com/with_integrity/status/1149306103165063169 …

Adam Carter @with_integrityReplying to @RamblingAK @threeguysyesh @ScottAdamsSays1/2 On the first point, I agree. We cannot tell where that transfer was from, in fact, it looks like it may have been a bulk xfer from a USB device rather than to one (because the timestamps there don't get rounded up to the nearest 2 seconds). Regarding timezones, of course,1 reply 2 retweets 2 likes -
But it does prove, that the transfer did not take place over the Internet. It doesn't prove, that it came off the DNC server, but where else were those emails kept? If they were stored elswhere, that's certainly worth knowing.

If some hacker was running a mirror of the DNC server, maintained by a utility that could copy without changing ANY metadata, it could have been taken from that to a thumb drive. Keeping the mirror updated could have been done over the internet. And it could have been anywhere.

That wouldn't be detectable?

Well, it would (IIRC) have required the utility to be in place when CrowdStrike found the stuff they attributed to Russia. But all they found was stuff they'd seen before, and attributed to Russia then. No way to know whether it really was. No knowing what they missed.
