They will just as quickly go after @jimmy_dore or @dpakman as they do @ScottAdamsSays , and like they did with Jones, what matters is who you speak out against, not what you stand for
if I had to guess, as someone who has programmed enough code. The algorithm probably goes off meta words, and titles first. Meaning, that is the first criteria for demonetizing, unless it's appealed.
Analyzing audio is a lot more complicated, and it requires heavy processing power. Thus, it couldn't be done in the first few minutes the video is uploaded and deemed not apt for ads.
I think that they just like to mess with conservatives and Trump supporters, because they can.

Honestly I have seen tons of people who have similar troubles. My theory is Google would prefer stability of existing earnings and maintaining their dominance over growth so only their largest, longest running, most profitable & most trusted channels would get instant validation.
There are numerous examples where I can't see any keywords or metadata at all that "should" trigger it, and it's really problematic. Some very well performing videos of mine have earned $0 because of random false positives.
Same thing for me. I am no more controversial than cable news.
