No - smart people realize that even the appearance of impropriety and wrong-doing can lead to counterintelligence investigations and really expensive legal bills, and they refuse and call the authorities.

Listening to a Russian citizen that your friend knows is a red flag? That’s quite a magic sensor you have.

Appearance of impropriety. It's like drinking at a brothel because the drinks are cheap. If it's raided, it still looks like you did something wrong.

Listening to a citizen of Russia your friend knows would not have been a red flag at the time.

Listening to a citizen of Russia your friend knows who says I have information from an illegal source, do you want it, is a kind of red flag, isn't it?

She said she had dirt on Hillary. That's it. Then she went to the meeting, gave nothing and talked about the Kaminsky Act. Meanwhile, you're so up in arms about nothing, trying to fabricate it into EXACTLY WHAT HILLARY DID.

She was offering assistance. That she did not deliver the assistance is immaterial. They went to the meeting to get illegally procured information. What part of 'appearance of impropriety' do you not understand?

Illegally procured? That is not in evidence. You are in the hallucination stage of cognitive dissonance.

If I remember correctly, she said she had material hacked from the DNC. Hacking is a crime. Did I miss something here?

Incorrect. That is a false memory.

Don Jr's emails clearly state that the Russian government is assisting or wishes to assist Trump's campaign. This is that whole 'money or assistance' thing that was supposed to be reported to the FBI.
