I'm okay with it. We have exactly the same number of winners and losers either way, and I find this more entertaining. Heck, even the replies to this comment will be more entertaining than a bunch of people jumping over stuff.

People like lots of things that are overrated and bad for them. I'm all for exercise and recreational sports. But the organized stuff is more bad than good.

Ok... I have seen what organized High School sports did for my two nephews... It was good for those boys.. really good... and I am not a sports fan at all.. So this really is a matter of perspective.

Maybe in the long run... My anecdotal nephews grew up and moved on... They are working.. so the sports background that they had did not determine their lives.. That is true..
