I’m confused. Isn’t priming by Cialdini’s definition debunked?

Scott and I may disagree on the extent. I think all “unrelated images” type priming is unproven, which would include showing a flag before asking people to vote (Scott’s example from periscope). But asking for something after a thank-you works, which is pre-suasion.
