I talked to two of them. They are free speech advocates (both Jewish, by the way) who were not supporting Lee or neo-Nazis, but were supporting the right of the statue to be there. Neither understood it was organized by neo-Nazis until later. I heard that from others as well.

Nice anecdote. To sum up: @nytimes has one person and you spoke to two specifically and others who were with this group of protestors quietly, legally protesting with a permit in Charlottesville. (None of whom wish to be on camera or interviewed elsewhere). Is that right?

Don’t assume that any of the free speech supporters actually matched with the Nazis, because they didn’t. They did their own thing at the event, because they showed up for their own reasons.

Who are they? These free speech supporters would seemingly want to exercise that speech and identify themselves and be interviewed. I feel like I should know these fine people but all I keep hearing is bupkis.

Feel free to provide an answer. I am not the only one who would appreciate learning about these fine defenders of free speech who were legally, quietly protesting with their permit but not with the Nazis.

"I am not the only one who would appreciate learning about these fine defenders of free speech" Certainly you & others would like to doxx these people and destroy their lives and the lives of their friends and family. Ask the Covington kids what your motives are.

So they are free speech advocates defending history when it comes to statues of dead losers and a Lost Cause but not when it comes to their own reputations. Seems perfectly reasonable. I just want to know who they are. So far I’ve got 3 plus sone others from @ScottAdamsSays

Let's see how many times I can say, "supporting free speech" and you can change that into "defending dead loser racists" so you have something to say after being humiliated for your wrongness in public.

You have discussed 3 people specifically you know personally & some others unidentified ethnically or otherwise. You are certain about the words @realDonaldTrump used when it comes to not supporting any bad people but when asked about the specifics of the other remarks, zero.pic.twitter.com/G0OjmsksUP

Obviously I'm not going to name them. They contacted me and requested privacy except for the details of their actions and what they saw.

Again, you point to 3 people. And some unspecified "others". That is not evidence of anything beyond anecdote.
