In Chinese internet, many people describe the current China-US tussle as The Art of the Deal v.s. On Protracted War. The latter was written by Mao Zedong in 1938 during China’s anti-Japanese war. Protracted war is well known among Chinese as a strategy to exhaust opponent.

Protracted war is a great strategy when time is on your side. 2020 will tell us if they were right.

Mao also skillfully did squat while the national government did all the fighting against the Japs, and then sprung from the shadows to attack it once the war was over. His 'Protacted War' was nothing but cowardice in the face of the enemy, glorified after the fact.

Exactly! The Chinese outnumber us and can wait us out or they will lose so much business they’ll be forced to make a deal !

Notice how, when the Yuan is devalued or about to be devalued, Bitcoin goes up drastically. Although it's now illegal for Chinese citizens to own Bitcoin, they still buy them & have the biggest effect on it's value.

          1. China is most likely to launch a sneak attack on Taiwan but hesitant because blowback and potential foundries get destroyed. 2. Any exchange with the USA would end poorly
