Good point. I know from personal experience, many lawyers get way too technical, way too fast. Harris’ tweets do read like a law book. But lawyers do get good at public speaking, writing. At least the ones who hone their craft. John Edwards was a trial lawyer and good persuader.

How can one be constrained by a subjective reality?

In a courtroom a lawyer is constrained by the evidence presented by either party. However, a lawyer can use that evidence to argue and draw conclusions. So that still takes a lot of persuasive skill. IMO.
