It's distressing to see so many conservatives in favor of the government breaking up a private company (Facebook, in this case). Don't make me become a libertarian. I'll do it.

Conservatives think they're making a good case to dismantle Facebook because of all the bad things they do. Thing is, Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders also think the companies they want to break up are doing bad things. They're wrong and so are you.

Would you be in favor of them doing whatever as private company if they banned all of your accounts? Provided no reasons, no recourse, etc? FB, Insta, Twitter, Pinterest, all of it. I’m a libertarian but this is not a hypothetical issue. They (briefly) banned Jordan Peterson.

In the same way I don’t think a Christian baker owes anyone a cake, yes.

Fair, and consistent. Does Walmart get to ban someone as easily as a one off Colorado baker? How about the consortium of Walmart, Safeway, Costco, Home Depot, etc. Because they do maintain lists of thieves, etc. But can they put you on that list for political purposes?

Or more relevantly, they international black book of casino advantage players. Do they get to put you in there — on account of any characteristic or any reason? Protected categories aside

I don’t disagree with you on the issue. But how
@ScottAdamsSays — at which person being banned is it too far? Maybe I’m too utilitarian for the libertarian purists.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
I’d sign a petition to regulate Twitter if they ever ban you

Ha, thank you. And I don’t think anyone should be banned from any platform. More sunlight on bad opinions, not less.

I’m actually quite fine with banning of nasty people. They do ruin the experience if left unchecked. Like home game vs rowdy casino game. As a blue check, you must get lots of nasty messages. I can only imagine...
