Why is it that the same people who are too scared to debate (@MichaelEMann @KHayhoe, etc.) - are also the ones who say the debate is over?

It’s a tell when you ask a climate scientist about the lack of empirical data and they immediately block you.pic.twitter.com/Ztwll8usuS

The empirical data is there. It takes a little work to find it, though. It only took me a day or two to write a program that graphs the warming seen across locations of the world. Are the number of hot days increasing? The answer seems to be yes in India and Australia:pic.twitter.com/nev8dKGgVj

Real question: AC systems cool interiors but exhale warm air to the world. The cool air inside doesn't interact (as much) with the exterior until it is also cool outside. How do a gazillion AC units NOT cause global warming?

Looks like air conditioning is a positive feedback: the warmer the planet is the more electricity you have to use, the more fossil fuels you burn. So this would be an amplified feedback loop. They pollute:https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/07/180703141439.htm …

The energy part is obvious, but doesn't directly adding warmth to the atmosphere also make the world warmer? There must be something I am missing.

It’s a trivial amount of heat compared to the overall climate system, which receives 50,000 times as much energy from the sun than the output of all the world’s power generation. https://ag.tennessee.edu/solar/Pages/What%20Is%20Solar%20Energy/Sun's%20Energy.aspx …

We’re talking about a few degrees of heat over decades. Seems relevant.

Does the AC not add heat when it is hot and release cool when it is cool? Average might be similar.
