CNN‘s Jake Tapper Admits: Trump Did Not Call Neo-Nazis ‘Very Fine People‘ in Charlottesville | Breitbart http://bit.ly/2V6LNqE  via @BreitbartNews

Then Trump is irresponsible. From the start he's spewed distrust or hatred of illegals, Muslims, globalists. Then crazies hear "fine people on both sides" & think he's winking at them. This ain't about what YOU hear, it's about what stupid crazies with guns hear. Don't excuse it.

You got multi-hoaxed. You believed "fine people" because you believed all the other hoaxes first. Why Democrats hear a secret racist dog whistle and Republicans do nothttps://bit.ly/2K8ZAnL

Scott I got to read your article: you think Trump is not a racist even if he says things that incite racists. But Presidents must be careful not to say things that incite haters: they can turn violent. And he's not stupid. You excuse it as his style. You are way too easy on him.

The press has duped you hard. Trump says ordinary things and the press reports he said racist things. Time after time after time. And you still don't notice. I wouldn't be proud of that.

Yes they are "ordinary things" to you and me, but they are incitements to racists. You said it yourself: people hear what they WANT to hear. Some of these racists have quoted him in their rantings. Presidents have to be careful saying "ordinary things", that's my whole point.

The racists adopt the fake news versions as presented by the press. Then the press quotes the racists, who got their framing from the press, as proof of their fake news. It's the same thing as FISA applications: Seed the story in the press then use the press as your source.

It's not just the press. Racists come to fake conclusions just watching his whole press conference. That's why all Presidents, up to Trump, have been very careful in what they say. His frankness may seem a breath of fresh air to you. That doesn't absolve him of responsibility.

Is your belief that the racists would have drawn the same conclusions if the headline instead read: "Trump strongly condemns hatred, bigotry and violence." ?
