#DerangedDonald’s own words: “There were people in that rally, and I looked the night before. If you look, they were people protesting very quietly, the taking down the statue of Robert E. Lee.”
The “night before” was the tiki torch “Jews will not replace us!” rally. Stop lying.

Your hoax-inspired belief has been debunked by both the left and the right this week. Sorry!
-
No apologies needed, garfield. Trump said what he said. The people he was referring to were from the rally the night before Heather Heyer was killed. Those were neo-Nazis & you know it. So either you’re being disingenuous or you simply don’t care. Delusion goes well with coffee.pic.twitter.com/V94AdlqfqO

The Trump/Russian hoax & Charlottesville/Nazi hoax have 4 things in common: 1) not done by amateurs 2) well funded 3) supported by media 4) political careers depended on it

It’s not enough for the national media to stop perpetuating the hoax. They have to retract all the stories it has appeared in, apologize to the public, and also explain how all of them made the same “mistake” over and over.

People who intentionally lie to further a political agenda are morally corrupt but not always idiots. I’d think propagandists would be more accurate

No, they don't believe it. They, like Jim Acosta, are deliberately trying to perpetuate the lie.

They think it's their ace in the hole for keeping black people outraged at Trump. If that's all they have they're in trouble.

Clearly they’re desperate to cover for Biden’s video assertions that kickstarted his campaign (identifying false narrative as his ‘cause celeb’) & want keep that hoax alive. Appears they were left off campaign memo to ‘move on’ & wait for next hoax or needed to fill empty space.pic.twitter.com/w1EOcdGPcI

They don't honestly "believe" that but they hope their readers will.

I’m confused. CNN is the enemy... until you need to reference it to support your argument
-
Well Scott is right, if CNN retract their hoax after two years of Fake Propaganda it is the best reference you can mention!

Scott is too invested in his narrative to read that link
-
An article entirely hinged on lying about one key point to make it's story does not make a great argument.
-
There is no innocent interpretation of Trump's remarks. At best, he was making a shout-out to his constituency in the south who are steeped in the "Lost Cause" mythology.
-
The biggest issue was he was clearly talking about the rally “the night before” as to where to the find the “very fine people”. The only people there were the tiki torchers shouting “Jews will not replace us”
-
Ya, but Trump has a wandering mind. He may have sincerely been thinking about the monument preservation folks. He always looks to defend his base even when it might be off topic. He saw an political opportunity.
-
Yea, the most charitable defense is that it’s like Trump’s comment that his dad was born in Germany and windmills cause cancer
-
Glad you two have a little lie-based echo chamber going.
