"See, what Trump really meant when he praised white supremacists was..." is not a winning argument. Sorry, but that ship has already sailed, and Biden shows how the Dems will use this effectively.https://twitter.com/rwgpost/status/1121542374814027778 …

@Tracinski For several days before the Charlottesville rally, the news had been reporting that there would be monument supporters there. Trump probably saw the same news. The fact that it turns out there were none does not mean Trump was praising white supremacists... (1/2)

Indeed Robert is lying. President Trump was talking about people on both sides of the monument issue. He stated so clearly.

Thank you, Mr. Adams. (Dilbert fan from the beginning.) In light of Biden starting out w/ the Charlottesville lie, I was searching for @MZHemingway’s piece on what Trump really said, when I came across this guy’s convoluted article trying to promote the lie.

If you want to read some convoluted nonsense by this guy trying to prove Trump praised nationalists just b/c it turned out no statue supporters were in the protests: https://thebulwark.com/the-charlottesville-hoax-hoax/ …

For days before the rally we were told there would be statue supporters there, and Trump probably heard those same reports and was referring to them. He also explicitly condemned the nationalists, but it’s not good enough for the politically correct liberal word twisters.

Trump’s message is problematic and weak. He blurs his delayed condemnation of the Nazis by following that statement with a defense of “fine people” who weren’t there. This is probably vanity. He wants people in MAGA hats to be “fine people”. He can’t challenge his fans.

I agree with @Tracinski , but why wouldn't I, we have same given name. BTW, he raises the same analysis that I do: Why bury the lead? Inept persuasion.
