Was puzzled by Scott's explanation, which understood to be rules should be followed (along with respect to the trangendered person) and sports are not that important. Did not understand because I thought debate is over what the rules should be, not whether they should be followed

Analogy: letting transgenders compete as girls is like letting adults compete as children. Bad because: more injuries due to mismatch, discourages participants, less fun, less entertaining, less experience.
