He was spot on in his skepticism of others' predictions about the contents. You were spot on about the reaction, while he seems genuinely (naively) baffled by it. (I too tend to be baffled by people's inability to process basic facts even after hearing your apt description of it)

There's more money to being made by amplifying the echo chambers than there is by doing proper journalism. Has ANY media org that hyped Trump-Russia done any kind of mea culpa? That's got to be a short list, but I'd like to see it.
