The difference of course is that my interpretation matched the reality when it was explained, and nothing nefarious was going on, as it is all public. Your interpretation is, charitably, unlikely.

Your interpretation matched their explanation. It comes down to believe them or not. I am of the opinion that there is sufficient motivation in the climate change "game" that working toward a predetermined end goal is more likely than not based on the data presented so far.

Why do you rule out the most obvious interpretation of the facts in evidence, that they believe climate change is real and they wanted their science to match what they "know" to be true?
