We had a whistleblower.... the guy who leaked the Climategate emails in 2009. He remains anonymous because the ultra-vicious climate mafia would destroy him.https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1120788428113596418 …

Here is the full story behind the most infamous Climategate email. From the old, now-archived JunkScience web site... http://junksciencearchive.com/Hide_the_decline.html …pic.twitter.com/zZdXMhx5oh

I've read all the stories that start with misinterpreting those emails.

Again, that is their explanation, they post fact defined "trick" etc. Again, look at what was actually done to the data. There was no basis to make the changes, i.e do the "trick", to adjust the data. They simply did it because it was not matching their goals.

As a lawyer, I can confirm that if you get access to your opponents’ emails you can concoct nearly any story you want. Seen it dozens of times from both sides.

True, be "Can" is the key word. That does not ensure that it was or has been "concocted". Again, the data matters most. All data is subject to interpretation but data that cannot be corroborated or tested as to its accuracy is left in the realm of speculation.

Sure, "trick" is easily explained. I get that. "Decline" is not. Mann admits the tree ring anomaly doesn't conform to what they "already know". "Hiding" it is an attempt to purposely mislead. Global temperatures may indeed be warming, but this is the opposite of science.

"..they all understand the real meaning .." The real meaning of "trick" is "a crafty procedure or practice meant to deceive or defraud" The real meaning of "hide the decline" is "hide the decline" We all understand that.
