I'm providing @ScottAdamsSays with lots of valuable information about climate. Unfortunate that he isn't taking advantage of it.

That's because you lost all credibility by imagining nefarious intentions where there is nothing like that in evidence. The Climategate emails that you believe prove intention are where you lost me entirely.

Of course Scott. They are "accidentally" using 50% fake data to turn cooling into warming. No nefarious intent. https://realclimatescience.com/2019/04/understanding-noaa-us-temperature-fraud-2/ …pic.twitter.com/OA3CBeRPUp

Thousands of scientists across the world are all "in on it"? If you hypothesized they were wrong or suffering from confirmation bias, I could take it seriously. But when you go full-tin-hat, everything else you say turns to dust.

Straw man argument. The temperature record is handled by a small handful of people, perhaps a dozen. Would you also argue that "thousands of FBI agents" couldn't have conspired against President Trump? All it takes is for a few key people to misbehave.

Actually, I make that same argument in my upcoming book as a reason to not trust peer review to catch temperature data errors. But it would still be unlikely for a dozen people (per proxy) in different parts of the globe to all be in on this alleged con.

Another straw man argument. If you look at the poor coverage and history of how the global temperature record has been altered over time, there is no question that the small groups of people have colluded to produce the same results. https://realclimatescience.com/overwhelming-evidence-of-collusion/ …

Colluded implies bad intentions not in evidence. I agree they try to be consistent and present a unified front. That’s just sensible.

Sensible to coordinate their scientific findings? Perhaps to put forth a cohesive narrative, yes.

Conformity is sensible? Conformity led to worst fails of science. Ever heard of the Food Pyramid? The same incentives were in place: the funding was only available to research that would confirm the Food Pyramid theory, and research questioning it was career ending.

Unfortunately many climate science journals no longer believe this. I recently saw a scientist's manuscript was rejected primarily because it was the opposite of the "consensus" of the climate science community, rather than because of any quality concerns.pic.twitter.com/hammuQT3RK

Could bad intentions be implied by the strong financial motive? No government money available for skeptics, but plenty for alarmists.

What would give me more confidence is a list of the predictions that got it at least half right and the ten biggest misses. I struggle with the pov we got 12 years to save our self when I evaluate the reality of predictions made from 12 or more years ago.
