Your knowledge is out of date. The new Gen IV plants have no meltdown risk and eat the nuclear waste from older plants as their fuel. It is the MOST planet-friendly technology by a huge margin. Solar and wind can't come close.
Until Gen IV is standardized and mass produced. Which seems certain. Then it is no contest. You seem under-informed.

Re:; standardized and mass produced' - what assumptions are you making here? How well do you know this technology?
-
I am repeating the assumptions of the experts in that field. The tech is intended for standardization and mass production. The biggest problem with prior tech is that each one was its own design.

Not certain at all! In fact, highly unlikely. Solar (and battery tech) already on an exponential cost decline curve. GenIV nuclear still has to get there, at which point they'll be getting cheaper side-by-side.
