I just started listening. Any plan that involves health insurance will not work. The USA has to admit that it needs free clinics (with cat scanners, operating rooms, etc) that perform health services, with no records kept, no accountability. The clinics have limited funding.
-
Records must be kept. Patient records on the cloud or on some chip embedded in the patient. Clinic records are required in order to discourage fraud.

As far as the Federal government is concerned, beyond opening up markets to ensure there is adequate competition and less regulation, there’s no constitutional rationale for their involvement. Neither healthcare, nor insurance are rights.
-
And Healthcare is mostly regulated at the state level, so it's a state issue.

Insurance is a pooling of risk to provide for unexpected expense. Most healthcare is not a matter of insurance but a regular budget expense comparable to home or auto maintenance. This is relatively low cost through middle-age, but expensive late in life or due to disability 1/2
-
Insurance is for the treatable non-chronic events such as accidental injury or infectious disease. 2/2
