Quite remarkable that Dilbert claims it's an Isis move if you don't want statutes of traitors in your town any more. Robert E. Lee is a traitor who fought against the USA and in defense of slavery. He does not need to be celebrated for valor. He is a traitor. https://twitter.com/ScottAdamsSays/status/1115975696310984704 …

The statue in Charlottesville was erected in the 20th century as a monument to Jim Crow... FYI.

I’m a thinking that after the war. All confederate soldiers are treated as Americans soldiers. I think Congress issued that.

It is a complete myth that those moments had anything to do with slavery. It is also a myth that the purpose of ther war was to free anyone. It was all about the economy in ther North and political power. Why do southerners call it The War Northern Aggression? Think abt it.

The monuments had everything to do with Jim Crow. And the first shot was fired by the South, so of course it's the South that misidentifies the source of the aggression...

Sherman was by the standards of his day, and even by todays standards - a war criminal but there are statues and a tank named after him. He turned his troops loose to rape and pillage a swath 60 miles wide and hundreds of miles long. NAZIs would be proud.

Sherman fought as an American. Not as a Confederate. FYI.
