Showing up to support a cause that was clearly supported by Nazis, as made apparent by the rally the night before, is on the people who ended up on the same side as the Nazis. The excuse of supporting free speech is absurd. Statues aren't "free speech."

ACLU used to stand up for Nazis all the time. Course that was about using free speech as a weapon against the THEN conservative majority. Now that the left controls most academia, the media, the arts...funny how they're not so into free speech anymore...huh?
