C02 is what the planet's vegetation lives on. More COW the bettwr. And, there is currently no destructive damage anywhere on the planet that can be inconclusively linked to C02. The planet warms and cools all the time and has been hotter and cooler in the past. Warming good.

The coral is adapting to the changing climate. As was demonstrated earlier in this convo. Climate change has been happening for millions of years, at much greater extremes than today (naturally). The coral as adapted, survived and thrived.https://www.seattletimes.com/nation-world/australias-great-barrier-reef-showing-signs-of-recovery/ …

And, you have not inconclusively linked C02 to warming oceans or a warming earth. I don't care how many "peer reviewed" studies you throw on Twitter, no scientist knows fully whats going on with our planet. They can't even predict where a hurricane will land...until it lands.

"They can't even predict where a hurricane will land...until it lands" Why do you think hurricanes and global warming are similar? Scientists *have* predicted global warming successfully, for decades already. https://tamino.wordpress.com/2016/08/16/crystal-serenity/ … https://www.carbonbrief.org/analysis-how-well-have-climate-models-projected-global-warming …

Would it look the same if they started with the conclusion that the earth was warming and tossed out any model that was wildly out of range? (Answer: Yes)

"While some were too low and some too high, they all show outcomes reasonably close to what has actually occurred, especially when discrepancies between predicted and actual CO2 concentrations and other climate forcings are taken into account." That is why I look at the physics.

Using satellite data, which differs from others?

Satellite data generally differs a lot with itself, depending on the models used to translate the microwave readings to temperature (models which often are not shared, as with the coolest UAHv6 picked by critics.) They also measure the troposphere, not surface where we live/care

Understood. But I am hearing the claim that the troposphere temperatures are wildly different from what AGW predicts they would have to be in order to validate the theory. Is that wrong?

Well, it's complicated. Not 'wildly' but there are issues, in case you may have missed my earlier link, this is a good study on model vs observations in the troposphere: https://www.nature.com/articles/ngeo2973.epdf?referrer_access_token=pvxyyyHtvGhn_JiY_NgzktRgN0jAjWel9jnR3ZoTv0Mv3eXuxQ_lt7YK4tRmIzJ5TMYA9jb879ajLsk61lxFeUor81YuMOP0Wao5Poc5ERXkBCdIS0OK9r0NJH5Mt9BS2SrnJTMTW5vjc3PDDKzEEp9c0LZ_yprA-1AsULpPzpODoRJ0Db9AqsYCDJRghi1PgAk84sTjJcnmkVwtzHt4vp5hWYLFfZyMgMmBhFcDLmhXKm8u7vNX2WeynJDjYZR0JlY0SyeXVpAXd2nT-blVoJqSqusBhmGL2GTtO7w-NUSorJ1__fR7QGS4JC4_0RWdRzewWZghuU7Gcwym18qWCA%3D%3D&tracking_referrer=www.theguardian.com …

You can read it from the “godfather” of global warming, Manabe. The modelled tropospheric temps don’t match observations and they don’t know why. https://agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/full/10.1029/2011GL048101 …. And that’s a problem.pic.twitter.com/o65F68aEoi
