Yup. And he's smarter than Bill Gates. Neither Bill Gates nor Scott Adams know enough about the issues to hold such an opinion. Simply declaring a technology "impossible" requires great expertise in both the technology and the economics around it.

Yeah, but many people say it's nonsense. Three issues I find convincing: Exponential growth curves don't end up in a singularity. They just keep getting steeper. Human adoption of technology depends on generation times. Wright's "Law" doesn't specify endless exponential growth
