You got lost in the weeds of the difference between GND and climate change, which is totally irrelevant. They are different, but the "power grab" argument is about the climate change element primarily.

When power is taken away from me as an individual to run my own life it is absolutely a power grab. To those stealing the power from others, it is simply a 'power transfer' no biggie.

It is the direction of power transfer that is important. Either to centralization or away from centralization. I’m not certain which way is a violation of the second law of thermodynamics. My gut tells me it is the flow toward centalized control that violates causality.

There is a natural overriding order to the world, causality. This law governs, economics, politics, evolution, weather. It is so pervasive nobody seems aware of it. Power always travels from high density to low density. Nothing can stop this.
