Pro-life rhetorical strategy is worthy of its own thread I've thought for a while that the pro-life movement was shooting itself in the foot They were relying on DISGUST at the expense of RIDICULEhttps://twitter.com/CShadegg/status/1111661867087200256 …

When I was in college, the pro-life tables always had these disgusting images The theory, I suppose, is that one would be disgusted by the barbarity and motivated to join their cause The effect is the exact opposite - associating disgusting images with the pro-life movement

better to use RIDICULE when possible in 2019 the pro-choice position articulated by Northam - and most of the Democratic candidates - is RIDICULOUS So stuff like this should work betterhttps://twitter.com/willchamberlain/status/1090799587579908096 …

Be careful not to ridicule the hoax part of the topic, which is the idea Dems ever favored the right to murder healthy babies after they are born. Northram's context was hospice.

I don't understand why he refuses to acknowledge this. The "hospice" context is false, verifiably.

Please provide the text of a proposed law that would legalize killing (directly or by withholding care) an otherwise viable baby who has already been born. I will take your non-response as surrender. (It will piss you off when you see how false the reporting has been.)

The Sasse bill was a direct response to delegate Tran pitching her bill that would allow abortion by a woman who is "dilating about to give birth" and Northam saying "the baby would be resuscitated if that's what the parents want" I will transcribe the interview.pic.twitter.com/Tv5M3gT3vC

It is a reasonable response, given the failure of this bill to pass (which was only put forth as a response to Northam and Trans words), that the left are for this. Congress passes many redundant things, but not this. The conclusion is obvious

Coupled with Hollywood's pressure on this issue, it is very reasonable to be disturbed and concerned about this movements intentionspic.twitter.com/pdKX9y4NCG

No, it is batshit crazy to think anyone favors killing healthy babies after they are born. If that had ever been contemplated, it would be written in a bill. Your out-of-context videos are useless evidence.
