Trump’s health care achievements: lower costs, more choices, better access to life-saving drugs. The remaining big problems to solve are partly due to Obamacare: high deductibles, inadequate coverage.https://www.breitbart.com/health/2019/03/28/president-trump-achievements-on-health-care-more-choice-lower-prices-life-saving-drugs/ …

I could have sworn he campaigned on the promise to end Obamacare on day one of his presidency. What am I missing?

He isn’t Congress. John McCain screwed that plan.

Then you're saying he lied? 1) Obamacare has no severability clause, so the fact that a court had already overturned part of it meant the whole thing was null. 2) Trump's Secretary of HHS had the discretion to issue rulings that would have gutted it until Congress acted.

I’d say overpromised. Anyone who thinks “on day one” promises are literal is on shaky ground.

If you don't like that question, reject it. Doing so doesn't invalidate the rest of my tweet. Even Mr. Adams felt compelled to change the topic in his response. Bottom line: Trump had two avenues available to kill or gut Obamacare, and took advantage of neither one.

You mean Congress.

No. An executive order that ensure Obamacare applies only to individuals that work over 45 hours a week would effectively end 95%+ of Obamacare instantly.
