Thanks, always learning, and not too hard to get into topics where I'm out of my reading depth (or otherwise making a mistake), but pretty familiar with the common repetitive contrarian tropes after a decade and a half of this. ;)

Yes, I would describe that as an accurate statement - "fake but also official" After 10 years of studying this, I don't see any evidence that there is enough quality data from most of the planet to establish a credible temperature long-term global temperature record.
