Accurate. From WW2 --> '70s, global temps slightly declined. And the rise of global temps in the early 20th Century happened at a time when CO2 was barely increasing.

Climate models struggle to reproduce both of these events to the magnitudes that they have happened, unlike the modern warming trend where models perform much better.

Just remember this. The same scientists and environmental experts that were crying hoarse about "global warming" have now changed their tune to "Climate Change". Obviously the "experts" got it wrong then with "Global Warming" or now with "Climate Change". We need to be sceptical

Fundamental question; is this a net bad thing? Fudamental question; how does this compare to other long term historical trends? Fundamentally: is the little ice age a global or European phenomena? How you decide to calculate a global mean temperature is also a guess.
