Can someone who is smart tell me whether this persuasively debunks climate change predictions of doom or is it just another "cherry picking" situation? https://twitter.com/lizard_fish/status/1108159567945523200 …

They always do this. Instead of looking at the source they ignore it and then try to assess the credibility of the person pointing at the source.
-
Who is they? I’ve already concluded catastrophic climate change, let alone that it might be man made, is a full on hoax. That would make me bias but I assure you I’m willing to change my mind if real evidence surfaces that proves otherwise.

It's the work of John Christy, who is known to have spread misinformation in the past. https://skepticalscience.com/skeptic_John_Christy.htm …

Is there a better source, given that this is all that matters in determining how much we should be worried?

Ok Scott, I finished carefully reading the whole article and here is the translation: In science, theories (and climate models) can’t be trusted if they can’t follow observed data. The Russian model is the only one that follows the observations therefore, trust it and not others.
-
So if the graph is accurate, climate change is no big problem, per the Russian model?
