Scott Adams does a public demonstration of false memory about the Charlottesville “fine people” hoax. With coffee.https://www.pscp.tv/w/b15B9DExODgwMjU5fDFCUktqWFpMbkJ3SncHIDV3bRwRUF9mdIiwC8PJr3Gd7B38n3GdoTB14HuFoA== …

It is the equivocation that is the problem, his ease at trying to say "there were fine people on both sides". On the side where they killed a woman and chanted against Jews, all the "fine people" left and condemned their participation in the event.

Here is the manuscript so you can see that ***unprompted*** he "condemned totally" the racists in attendance. Your news source might only report the "fine people" part, which is misleading.pic.twitter.com/Ryje4w1Fnu

I saw the press conference, and read the transcripts. I get that he said a disclaimer first. A president has a responsibility to not foment hate and fear. Just like "separate but equal" was not equal, no president, left or right, has had any problem pointing out anti-semitism and

(continued) murder is bad. The fine people left as soon as the torches came out. They should have left as soon as neo-nazis showed up.

I have been to bars, parties and concerts where the wrong people show up, the smart people leave when they realize it is going to get out of control.

Do you have some evidence that there were "very fine people" amongst the racist nazis? Do you have evidence that the counter protestors had guns, killed a woman and profess to hate Jews? That is what it sounds like the President is saying.

Many good people were there to support keeping the statues. I agree - as soon as they saw Antifa there - they should have known there would be violence and should have left - but hindsight is often 20/20 for good well-intentioned people.
