Do you have a link to the penalty for the doctor in NY if the life is terminated after the baby survives the abortion and is out of the womb?

His point is that the term "non-viable" can (and would) be used in a disingenuous way to justify failing to resuscitate babies that would otherwise survive and, then, not prosecuting those who failed to give or get the baby that care.
-
The whole point is to give the woman the "choice" to leave without a living baby on her hands. At the 9-month mark, everyone knows it's a life inside or outside the womb, so at of all places an abortion clinic there would be no sense of "we must make sure this baby stays alive."

This is an insane comparison, grandma is at the end of her life. A baby is at the start of his life, but is much more vulnerable if uncared for than an elderly person. Not giving a baby medical care isn’t hospice, but it is a convenient argument for those that botched an abortion

Grandma (the person that is dying) usually makes the hospice decision on her own behalf. As did my mother. The newborn doesn’t have that choice.
-
So leave the decision to the baby?
