I think the bottom line is that there must be a limit to "unfair advantage" in sports - which is why in fighting sports there are weight classes, or why doping is illegal. As far as i can see Scott believes those limits stretches farther than most people would like to.

Me: You don't realize that advantage comes from them being biological males? You: What is a biological male? Me: What the fuck is wrong with you Scott?

Scott thinks we can just change the parameters of the simulation and make it all go away.

I see. Nobody disagrees that trans have a huge advantage. What we disagree on is the effect that this huge advantage has on the sport. You appear to be ok with it. The people that disagree (majority in the sport) disagree.

Should we, or should we not, set aside a series of teams or leagues to allow people who were born as biological females to play solely amongst themselves without outside competition?

I can't find where Scott recognizes this as a problem. Nor admit that his position advocates for the elimination of sex seperation.

This is the unanswered question I'm leaving this conversation with. What is wrong with keeping status quo and defining XX and XY categories now that the term 'women' has changed.

Not true Scott...saying that on a particular team, trans-female athletes have a huge advantage "on average" is not really true...what they have is a huge and ABSOLUTE (not average) advantage over every other player on that team... not "on average"...that's the problem. 100 W, 0 L
