I agree, I saw an open letter from a friend of hers equating what she did to parent zeal, it couldn't be farther from the truth, this is awful parental negligence!

Someone with Michael Jordon's skills is rare. There are plentiful numbers of men who could dominate a woman's basketball team. Woman's sports then just become a men's "minor league." Then, when they try to start new teams for women, the men take over them also.

I think your argument about fairness in sports is far too deterministic. Most of the great athletes are known to be exceptionally hard working, so they weren't just "born into it."
