This is an excellent line of inquiry. Would a truly completely different person have been born in each of our stead, had a different one of the billions of sperm cells first reached the ovum that was our mom's part our creation?

Isn’t that just a spin or twist on “Ignorance is bliss”? Isn’t ignorance simply a void which can be filled subjectively, thus causing the appearance of a simulation? But in reality, it’s just ignorance.
