When Trump said “very fine people on both sides” what do you think he meant?

Ohhhhh so after the women was hit by a car and he came out and said that there were very fine people on both sides of that protest. I was mistaken. He was talking about a statue. Lol.

It’s tough to realize when you’ve been hoaxed, but it happens to the best of us.

I don’t think I was hoaxed. I think that after a women dies exercising her first amendment rights the day after a bunch of people chant the Jews will not replace us - that the president shouldn’t focus on the few people who were there ‘for the right reasons’

Unedited video here - 13:30 to about 20 mins - https://youtu.be/QwIU7iUfhow - Scott and your interpretation is fairly generous - having watched the Fri night footage it is hard to see “quiet” protests against the statue

We already know the news coverage was unreliable. That’s what made it a hoax. You think they point cameras at people NOT causing trouble?

I take your point but Trump cites that he watched the coverage to reach his conclusion of very fine people on both sides - there is no evidence to support his statement is there?
