I'm seeing a shift in the zeitgeist toward understanding that safe nuclear power (Gen IV designs with no risk of meltdown, eats nuclear waste for fuel) is the only practical solution to climate risks, and it is doable with current technology. #GreenNewDeal #GreenNuclearDealhttps://twitter.com/lennyst/status/1102240348271566848 …

Are humans involved in construction and maintenance?

Hope does that change ther physics? Solid fuel physics depends on human intervention to prevent and contain. Molten salt can't meltdown and containment depends completely on physics, not human intervention.

The only tangible risk is from any evacuation panick from some sort of incident. I predict that when we go full nuclear, using tooth picks will be a greater danger than from any nuclear incident, including any possible exposure from to nuclear waste.
