.⁦@ChrisCuomo⁩ just played a clip of neo-Nazis marching in Charlottesville and then cut to a clip of ⁦@realDonaldTrump⁩ referring to “very fine people” as if he was referring to them. He wasn’t, and condemned them several times in that conference. You’re a damned liarpic.twitter.com/AymKVsTwMB

He was referring to “both sides, both sides” so he was absolutely talking about the new-nazis and there was no condemnation until later

He was referring to both sides of the argument about statues: Good people wanted them taken down and good people wanted them left up. But the divisive media continues to distort and divide.

No sense and you know it. Do you really think this guy isn’t a race baiting opportunist? Wtf do you think Birtherism was?

Birtherism was standard politics. Trump used the same approach on "Canadian" Ted Cruz. Questioning the legitimacy of political opponents is politics 101, and always has been. Check your history.

I was an American history major. I know of no other incident in modern American history as egregiously racist as Birtherism.

Yes, but the racism part is on your end. Politicians routinely question the residence requirement of opponents. It is one of the most routine plays in politics, albeit generally a dirty trick. You lack that context.

annd there is this thing... umm the Constitution.. It does specify requirements for certain jobs, even if the interpretation of certain phrases had been debated.

It's not a dirty trick. There are rules, you're either following them or you're not. If your opponent doesn't even meet basic qualifications, it's not a dirty trick to point that out.
